Mica Scrap is obtained from Mica Mines, it is basically a Mica that is below specifications and not suitable for use as sheet mica, because of size or quality. Mica Scrap and all mica waste are pulverized into a wide range of selected Mesh Sizes of Flakes and hence Mica Flakes derived.

Mica flakes consist of high-quality mica scrap that is ground to a size of 2 to 30 mesh. A crushing and sieving process is used to make mica flakes.

There are three grades of Mica Flakes

• Corus
• Medium
• Fine
